I have the Skyrim Platinum Trophy – Just so you know…
8 Aug
I don’t have a lot to brag about when it comes to gaming, but this is noteworthy:
For x-mas this year (er, last year I guess – December 2011), Ceratopz and I got a ton of games. But for some reason, no one thought I wanted Skyrim, so I had to go out and get it myself on boxing day.
After plowing through a couple other games, I started on Skyrim (PS3 version) early January.
It ended up being the only game I played until March…

I realize this might not be very impressive to the hardcore gamers out there, getting platinums in mere weekends. But what makes this significant, you see, is that I actually have a life (work, part time school, etc.) – I don’t get to play nearly as much as I’d like to.
But Skyrim? I pretty much lived in that universe – not playing any other games what-so-ever until I hit platinum.

proof of trophy
I was the Dragonborn.
How long did it take me?

183.5 hours – that’s all!
Now that may be slow – I dunno. But I’m the kind of guy who relishes in a game, playing slow, screwing around, you know… having fun! Plus, I’m sure there we’re a few instances of leaving the game on while I was away for extended periods of time.
Still, even after getting my platinum trophy, there are still quests left, and those damn stones to find. And I’m not even talking about the repeatable quests – I had straight up one-off quests still left to do. I’m still not done!

But I’ll just finish it all off when Dawnguard comes out.
On PS3.
*sigh*
To be continued ?

hey there i quite like this little blog its one of the few ive liked so good work
myself ive finished the main quests in skyrim and put it away to never be seen till i open my cupboard to move or i want to play it again its the one game i found boring
Yeah, I’ve had friends tell me they didn’t really like it. I guess it depends on what kind of games you prefer. I loved it though.
It took me like 9 months to get platinum ( Not straight on and off) :/
yeah that’s probably what I should have done. I usually play games obsessively, then get sad when I’m finished.
I just got mine yesterday and there is something missing in my life now
what will you move onto next?
